Now in its tenth year, the Southfield Baseball Showcase has expanded from a one-day showcase to a weeklong event that includes an educational symposium and college fair. There is also a high school format showcase for middle school baseball players and three days of round robin games with local and regional, RBI and All-Star and high school teams. The Symposium features current and former college athletes, professional baseball players, college coaches, business professionals and civic leaders. The showcase games bring teams from across the region and continue to expose high school student-athletes in the Midwest to the collegiate education and athletic opportunities at Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
